Congratulations to Samuel Guhl for his Silver Award for answering 763 questions during the Education Perfect Social Sciences Championships 2016.  This placed Samuel in the top 5% of 10,000 competitors from around the world.

Language Perfect

Congratulations to all Language students for the success in the recent Language Perfect World Championships 2016 competition.  The  improvement has been very significant.  Well done to all concerned.

Year 7A Football

Congratulations to Brian Burke and James Honan and the Year 7A Football Team on their resounding win in the ACC Grand Final.

It is a fabulous result for Brian who returns to coaching after a break and that makes four Premierships in a row for James and the Year 7 team!

Final scores were St Bede’s College 15.10.100 defeated Parade College 0.3.3.

Sailing Team

After being undefeated in the Victorian State Teams Racing Championship in the last week of Term 1, St Bede's  College have been invited to join the 2016 Victorian State Team.  The St Bede's College sailing team consisting of Daniel Quinlan, Harrison Sly, Jack Chadwick, Patrick Rohan, Declan Easton, Ryan Girvan and Will Grimshaw will compete for the National Title in Goolwa Adelaide. We will be racing all week to hopefully make the Grand Final on Saturday 16 July. We will be joined by Mark Freeman who has organised the team for many years. The team has been training every Monday night since the state titles and racing against St Leonards College who were also invited to join the Victorian team.
