Exams

As we come to the end of Term 2, I would like to commend students in Years 9 and 10 on the way they conducted themselves during the recent core subject exam period.   At St Bede’s College we believe that setting these habits early is an important part of demystifying formalised examinations.  Exam results will be part of the final PAM upload for the term.  Parents will be able to log onto PAM from Monday 27 June. 

Senior Reports

While we have been piloting six weekly feedback blocks in Years 7 – 10, summative semester reports remain for students in VCE.  This decision is based on the need for reports for employment, further training and study where a formal document is often required.  Parents should note that this will also be distributed through PAM from Thursday 23 June.

Subject Selections 2017:  In a school such as St Bede’s College a great deal of time goes into planning for classes, timetabling and staffing of subjects.  We are already beginning to prepare for subject selections for 2017.  Parents have an important role to play in this so we would like to give you advance notice of the following dates:

This can be daunting for parents who are going through subject selection for the first time, so you will find a summary below of the selection requirements for each year level. Please be assured the staff are here to help students through this process. 

Further information regarding online selection will be provided at each of the sessions.  Students will also be supported with information during assemblies.
