Sport News

Our school oval will look a sea of colour on Friday with all grade 3 to 6 students uniting in school houses to participate in our House Athletics Sports. It is optional for students to wear their house colour as a show of spirit. At the end of competition, either Water, Air, Fire or Earth house will be our house athletics champions for 2015. The scene is set!

Interschool sport is due to kick off on February 27th for our grade 5/6’s. It will be the first time our grade 5’s have participated in interschool sport, so there’s an air of excitement amongst our group. We begin by playing away against Narre Warren South P-12. Sports being contested include teeball, netball, badminton, kickball and Australian rules football. Results will be published soon.

Our district swimming carnival will be held on Wednesday March 4th this year at the Noble Park Aquatic Centre. Students interested in participating should speak to Mr Gleeson or Mr Flanagan for information on entering. To be illegible, parents need to confirm their child is a capable swimmer swimming at squad level.

Parents are responsible for the transport and supervision of their child at the pool, as supervising teachers will not be in attendance from Lyndhurst PS. A program will be available shortly.
