‘Years Ago’ By Arielle Dolan
O how one would know.
Why the wind would blow,
And the sun starts to show.
Over the farmers sow.
Where children would play,
And a cat would stray.
An old rope would fray.
After years of delay.
Although some would say,
It was yesterday.
That the sand covered bay
Sauntered far away.
Leaving us confused.
and rather bemused,
Extremely bruised.
Our ancestors mused.
