On October 12-13 our Year 3 students went to PGL Campaspe Downs for their first school camp. The happy campers did canoeing, raft building, aeroball, archery, possum glider and the giant swing. They focussed on team building, trying new things and enjoying outdoor activities together. Everybody had a fantastic time!
Year 6 Circuits
Last Thursday 6H presented their electric circuit models as part of their Science and Technology program. They had to use copper wire to create a simple circuit including a light globe or a motor and if they were up to the challenge, they could include a switch to turn it on and off. The Year 6s have worked hard on this project and they were very excited to demonstrate them to other students and special guests who came to visit.

It is estimated that the Fiji Book Drive has assisted 2,500 students to have access to quality reading material. Click here to find out more about this charity.
Relay for Life
At lunchtime today our the junior school students gathered on the oval ready to walk some laps in their mini Relay for Life. The enthusiasm among them was clear as they all charged over the starting line. Throughout the week, the students donated money to the Cancer Council, for each lap the students walked they contributed $1. As lunchtime progressed, students of all ages were still eagerly participating and their number of laps were steadily increasing. Not only was this event a fun lunchtime activity for the students, but it also helped raise awareness for a cancer cure and fundraise for much-needed cancer research. We are proud to announce today we raised $576 for Relay for Life!
