Curriculum Matters

Thanks to all parents, students and staff who attended the Year 7 BBQ and Welcome evening on Wednesday night. It was great that you were able to meet with staff, hear about key College priorities and ways in which we can best support student learning.
Year 11-12 students have been shared into their respective Year Level Assessment Handbook and Assessment Calendar. Please take the time to read through the documents. Please note the timing of assessment work, the type of task being undertaken, the topics they relate to and weightings of the tasks. The work of the classroom and assessment work are one in the same and there is a direct correlation between the two.
Subject changes for Electives are now complete and patterns of study are set. I thank the students for the positive start they have made in their Electives.
Should you have queries or concerns about anything relating to improving student learning, please contact the College.

Attention HSC Students - Disability Exam Provisions
Over 7000 HSC students apply for exam provisions each year. NESA has an application process and applications close this term.
Go to the NESA website here for more information. Remember that the term 'disability' is very broad and the purpose of provisions is to allow you to make a fair attempt.
If you require exam provisions or if you're not sure and need advice please contact Michelle Shaw on shawm@ww.catholic.edu.au as soon as possible.
