“Write-a-book-in-a-day” Competition

The book written by our Year 10 team titled “Glassblowers” in the Upper Division as part of the “Write-a-book-in-a-day” Kids Cancer Project has been short listed for an award.

This is a great achievement for the students who worked tirelessly for 12 hours on August 22 to complete the book within the given parameters. A total of 23 schools participated in the Upper Division from Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.

The books written as part of the project will be distributed to hospitals throughout Australia to be read by children suffering from cancer.

As part of the project our school teams also raised a total of $2970.14 for Kids Cancer Research.
