Principal's Report

Dear Families & Carers,

Last term, we had a focus on attendance. At Assembly, we celebrated our students who managed to have 100% attendance for Term 1. This term, we will be celebrating children that have managed to get 95% attendance or higher for the Semester. 95% attendance is what all students should be aiming for and means that there is opportunity to miss a little bit of time due to illness or appointments.

Here is a current number of students per class sitting in the 95% range...

Foundation: 4

Grade 1/2BH: 3

Grade 1/2NH: 3

Grade 3/4WY: 4

Grade 4/5G: 3

Grade 5/6G: 6

There are a number of students who are sitting 'just below' this percentage as they have been recently hit with an illness. With a couple of weeks of strong attendance, these statistics will change quickly!

This week in Assembly Grade 3/4WY presented to the school with confidence and engagement. Congratulations to the following students who were presented with 'Student of the Week' for all their fabulous hard work this week;

Foundation: Harriet

Grade 1/2NH: Matilda F

Grade 1/2BH: Ella

Grade 3/4WY: Summer

Grade 4/5G: Charlie

Grade 5/6G: Leo

Our SWPBS focus this week is 'We care for our world.' We have been learning about caring from everything from our classroom to paying more attention to global issues such as pollution.

Congratulations to Lincoln in Foundation who was the winner of this week's Class Dojo raffle.

Thank you for another amazing term of learning and fun.

Just a reminder that Term Two finishes this Friday June 23rd at the earlier time of 2.10pm.

Please take care over the holiday break and we look forward to seeing everyone refreshed for Term Three!

Blessings,

Cassie Lynch
