Mini Vinnies Winter Appeal

As Mini Vinnies we support those who are less fortunate than ourselves. 

This term, we willl support people in our local community by donating non perishable food and clothing.  Some ideas are:

• Pasta and pasta sauce
• Canned stew/soup
• Warm clothing like jumpers, beanies, gloves, socks
• Blankets
• Toiletries

Please bring in any donations to your child/ren's classrooms by Friday 23 June.

Thank you to all the families who have already brought in donations so far. A friendly reminder that these are due by the end of the term. 

Feast of the Sacred Heart

Today, Friday 16 June is the Feast of the Sacred Heart. The feast is the time to reach out to others, showing the same love and mercy Jesus showed us. 

On Friday 23 June, we will have a prayer service as part of our whole school assembly to pray together, especially recognizing the work of St Vincent De Paul and the Mini Vinnies who help the needy people in our community.

Generous God, you are always loving and merciful. Give us loving hearts so that we will never be separated  from the love of your son, Jesus. May we always remember those who do not have food, clothing or shelter. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
