SRC

On Thursday, 15th June Roselea had its highly anticipated Triple S Day. Let's take a closer look at the day:

Sports Jerseys: Students from all grades participated by wearing their beloved sports jerseys and making a gold coin donation. The school grounds were filled with jerseys representing various football, NRL, rugby, netball and AFL teams. There were plenty of Roselea FC jerseys on display too! It was great to see the students' pride in supporting their favourite teams. Thanks to everyone's generosity, we were able to raise $317.90 in donations!

Spider Lemonades: The Year 6 students took charge of refreshments, selling delicious spider drinks to their fellow students. Priced at $2 per drink, they managed to raise an impressive $433. This money will be used to fund their end of year event.

Soccer Match: The highly anticipated Year 6 vs Teachers soccer match was also held during lunchtime. Excitement filled the air as students watched the action-packed game. Mr Jones kicked off the game with an early goal, but Year 6 fought back impressively, resulting in a neck-and-neck battle between the two teams. In the end, teachers emerged victorious with a close 4-3 win.

Altogether we raised an impressive $750.90 for Triple S Day! Thank you to all students for participating in the day. Stay tuned for more exciting events and updates from Roselea SRC. Well done to our Semester 1 students for the effort and commitment they have shown this year. New representatives will be chosen soon for Semester 2 and we look forward to working with them too!
