Dining Hall News

Hi to everyone from the Catering team!

Post Covid-19, there have been a few changes to the dining service that the students have embraced well. The most notable, from our perspective, is the lunch ordering system, which has been particularly well-received as we vary the offerings that the students order on a weekly basis.

We offer a choice of healthy salads, meat and salad rolls, a weekly hot soup, and simple sandwiches. We also offer special options to add a bit of variety, including burgers, hot meal options and sushi, all of which are popular. On rare occasions, the naughty-but-nice party pack with party pies, sausage rolls and chips make an appearance. It's not our healthiest option, but there’s always a healthier option for those who don’t want to indulge.

Thanks to all of you who filled in the Boarding Pulse. It’s always good to get feedback and hopefully we can embrace and adopt new ideas to tailor the service to match your expectations.

It is with sadness that we farewell Mrs Richelle Warren from the catering team, she has been welcoming your children at breakfast for the last three years.  Always keen to provide something hot nutritious and healthy, especially with her varied lunch options.  She has a great rapport with the kids and I’m sure will be greatly missed, you will I’m sure notice your children’s enthusiasm to wipe the dining table after meals this is due to her training and continual encouragement.
