Important Message re: School Sport Planning

Hi, Everyone!

This is a very important message concerning inter school sport.

It has been stressed in all communications and at all meetings that the current provisional plan for any resumption of interschool sport is subject to SSV receiving the green light from the health team at DET who work closely with the Department of Health and Human Services. Any change to the current status will always be informed by the latest health advice.

At this time, SSV has not received any approval for interschool sport to resume.

Whilst SSV has encouraged you to meet with your schools or other Coordinators to commence planning, this is on the understanding that DET still has to give approval to commence interschool sport.

Please communicate this with your schools to reinforce the current position.

Once SSV receives any information of a change of status, it will be posted on the SSV website and communicated directly to you via email. This is the page on the SSV website that you and your schools can continue to get the latest information on SSV’s interschool sport:
