Sport News

It has been a successful few weeks in Sport at Endeavour College with our first ever Open Boys Knockout Soccer team winning their first round and successfully moving on to the second round, which is due to be played in early Term 3.

Our Junior and Senior Boys and Girls also competed in the SACSA Netball Carnival on the 15 and 16 of June.  The Junior Girls teams placed 5th and 11th out of 23 schools. Our Senior Girls placing 9th and 12th out of 14 teams, and Boys placing 3rd and 7th overall.  Well done to all students involved in these teams. The coaches all felt the students demonstrated a high level of commitment to their trainings, great determination and exceptional sportsmanship.

Looking ahead to Term 3 we have a wide variety of Extra-Curricular Sports to look forward to. Keep an eye out in this section of the Newsletter for all the latest dates for upcoming Weekly Sports and Carnivals.

SAPSASA District Sport

In Week 7 a number of our Year 7 students were chosen as part of our Adelaide North East SAPSASA district Netball and Football Teams. Both teams did not quite take out the top prize however, played well enough for the district to be moved up to the next division in both sports. A big congratulations to Olivia Wyatt, Alana Dolling, Tyla Peters, Erin Gates, Madison Clark, Caitlin Mundy, Alicia Botten, Andrea Campbell and Maddison Furnell for their selection in the District Netball and Blayde Harten, Lachlan Bown and Ryan Schwartz for being selected in the SAPSASA District Football teams.

We would like to thank the parents and families involved in team organisation and transporting students to and from the event during the week.
