Legend’s of League
Congratulations to our Open League team who went through undefeated in the Legend’s of League competition last Tuesday. The boys won the Grand Final and will now compete in the regional final in Gunnedah next term.
Infant’s Cross Country
The annual Infants Cross Country will be held this Friday on the back oval starting at 12:15pm followed by lunch at approximately 1:00pm. Parents, Grandparents, Caregivers and friends are more than welcome to come and watch. The sausage sizzle will be straight after the event. All order forms were due back yesterday. No orders will be taken after Wednesday.
Diocesan Cross Country
Congratulations to our School Cross Country Team who competed at the Diocesan Cross Country yesterday. Tahlia Slee and Maggie Newton were both successful on the day qualifying to go to the Polding Carnival at Eastern Creek in June.
Gala Day
We have a number of Senior and Junior teams competing in the annual Gala Day next Monday. Students will be playing Soccer, League and netball over the day against teams from the Armidale Diocese. If your child is playing please make sure they are in full School Sports Uniform and have water and sunscreen. The children are to come to school first. Buses will be leaving at 9:00am to take them to the complex and Kamilaroi Oval. There is a canteen operating at all venues. Parents are more than welcome to come and watch on the day. Finals at most venues will be approximately 1:30pm. Hopefully draws will go home on Friday but please remember these can change on the day.
Kindergarten King Fit
There is no King Fit this week for Kindergarten due to the Infant’s Cross Country. King Fit will resume the following week.
Year 3-6 Sport
Students from Year 3-6 are participating in Winter sports for the first 5 weeks of term. Netball and Soccer will be at the complex, while League will be held on the school back oval.

Secondary Sport
School Sport
Winter sports will continue this week and run for the remainder of the term. Students will do one of the following sports: Netball, Soccer, Basketball, Tennis ($1.00) and Lawn Bowls. Students at lawn bowls are reminded to bring flat soled shoes.

Tennis – George Wood, Munroe Wood, Charlie Harris, Griffin Byrne, Gabby Gallagher, Tyla Mair. The tennis team achieved mixed results on the day with some singles and doubles match wins and losses. Well done to all players.
Golf – Ben Myler, Darcy Brennan: 2nd in the team division.
Bill Turner Soccer
The boy’s soccer team played Inverell High yesterday in round 1 of the Bill Turner Cup soccer competition. After a slow start and being down 0-1 at half time the team played a really good second half to win the game 3-1. The team will now play Guyra Central in the next round. Congratulations boys.
Girls Netball Selections
Year 7 netball selections will take place during lunch on Wednesday and during sport on Thursday.
