Did you know that we run some Japanese themed events at Sports Day?

The JP students put their chopstick skills to the test in the 'Hashi' Relay and the older students got to experience the ‘Oodama’ Relay.

Lots of fun was had by all!

HOW GOOD IS BEST BEACH????

On Tuesday, the year 6/7 knockout football team travelled to Thebarton oval to compete in the grand final. We had a really strong preparation in the lead up to the grand final. I couldn't be more proud of the boys (and one pretty special girl) in how they handled themselves through out the competition. Made my job as coach pretty easy. Hard enough to make a grand final, let alone win two in a row.

Thank you to all parents and supporters of the team. It was wonderful to have so much support on the day and through out the competition. The team and I thank you for all your efforts.

A hard fought game. A hard fought season. To go back to back in a competition where you can't lose a game....is pretty special.  We had a couple of doubters early on...including a 6ft 4 bald former Deputy Principal. The determination and resilience of the players can not be over looked.

We won the grand final by 13 points. Best on ground for the grand final included Archie, Zane, Kohta, Nic and Jack 'The postman' Giancaspro. The man simply delivers when we need him.

I can smell a three-peat.

Best Beach. Where magic happens. Impossible is nothing. Best Beach.

Thanks again,

Mr Reid.
