Lock down didn’t stop theatre creation at MGSC! 

Monologues

The Year 12 students developed their performance monologues online and during special school based exam prep sessions so they were ready for their performance exam at Kingston Arts Centre on the Thursday 21 October. They performed well on the day and should be immensely proud of their efforts. 

We wish the Year 12s a big theatre 'chookas' for the rest of their exams and their future endeavours. We will miss you all but hope to see you back at our performing arts events next year!

Hello World!

The year 11 Theatre Studies students creatively adapted their performance of ‘Hello World’ so it could be performed online. The process tested their performance and theatre making skills but the end result was absolutely worth it. They performed for the year 12 TS students in their final class and for parents, teachers and friends on the Thursday 21 October. Audience members were impressed with the comedic, well-rehearsed performance that cleverly incorporated aspects of the online forum to establish setting and mood. We can’t wait to see what this group comes up with in year 12 Theatre Studies!
