Changes to the way we charge for excursions, incursions and activities in 2022

From 2022 all excursions, incursions, camps, and activities, including interschool sport, will be charged for individually.  This is in line with the DET parent payment policy.

The previous annual charge for all events will no longer be offered in 2022, instead you will be notified via Compass notifications to approve and pay for each individual event in which your student participates.

The large majority of the MGSC student activities are offered to broaden and enhance the students’ experience of the curriculum and, as such are provided on a user pay arrangement.

Where payment hasn’t been made, students will be guided to attend alternate classes or private study in the library.

Camps, Sports, Excursions Funding (CSEF) is applicable to all events. Therefore, if you are eligible to receive this funding then please make contact with the school. 

Families experiencing financial difficulties are encouraged to contact the accounts receivable team at the General Office - 9581 5200.
