Thankyou to everyone who had opportunity to order bookclub this year the support has been tremendous with the big winners being your children.
The Scholastic BookClub catch cry is "OPEN A WORLD OF POSSIBLE" which really fits perfectly into the message on the circulation desk penned by Abbey Ullman in 2016:
"THE LIBRARY IS NOT JUST FULL OF BOOKS BUT ALSO OPPORTUNITIES"

LIBRARY BAGS MATTER
Not just some of the time ... but all of the time.
A huge thank you to all of the students who remember to bring their library bag. Without a bag, books cannot be borrowed.
****Library Notes to Students****
Some students have been receiving a note in recent weeks regarding poor borrowing habits, forgetting their library bag and not returning books promptly. For some students it is becoming an ingrained habit. Please assist me in reminding your child of their library day but still giving them the responsibility of putting their books in their library bag and the library bag in the school bag. A small thing I know but the trend I am noticing is worthy of a space in this newsletter and a note home.
