In The Field

CUWe are very excited to welcome Mr Daniel Shepley in to our faculty at Blackfriars Priory School. He is our Media & Digital Photography Teacher and he commenced in Week 4. Mr Shepley wasted no time in organising a photography excursion to the Super Loop Adelaide 500, Thursday Week 5. 

Equipped with camera, water & a hat the boys braved the heat to capture the action of the cars & fun at the iconic Adelaide event. Being out-in-the field for photographic shoots gives our students real-life experiences to work as a photographer. It provides them with opportunities to work with in time constraints, to deal with the pressure of working in public and to learn the importance of getting the right shot on the day. 

The day was a great success and we thank all the students who participated in the excursion for the outstanding behaviour and representation of the school and I am sure the boys will all joining in thanking Mr. Shepley for getting the photography students out ‘n about!
