Early Learning Centre

First day back to Term 4 saw 20 children take part in a walking excursion to the launch of “Payinthi”, the new City of Prospect community facility. The group involved children from each of the rooms and particularly those who are taking part in the “Little Scientist” and “Flinders University” mapping project with Ms Moretti & Ms Foody. The group toured the facility including the Gallery, the Library and were particularly taken by the artist using remote technology to paint. Afterwards we met the Reception boys in St Helen's Park for lunch. Getting out into our local community contributes to the children’s sense of belonging and being a part of something larger than the ELC or the school.
