FEDERATION UNIVERSITY - OPEN DAY

In Ballarat, both the Arts Academy and the Mt Helen campuses will be activated with a range of entertainment and information sessions. The main stage at Mt Helen will feature live music, panel discussions - and if you're a MasterChef fan, you'll find Tim Bone running cooking demonstrations and talking about his time as a Federation University student!

The Arts Academy will host acting, singing and dancing workshops, communication design and humanities information sessions and the visual art students will have an extensive display of work, some of which will be available for purchase. A full list of activities by campus is outlined at: federation.edu.au/openday

DEAKIN UNIVERSITY - CASPER TEST WEBINAR

Students applying to study Teaching at Deakin University must successfully complete the CASPer test, which is an online situational judgement test that measures non-academic suitability for teaching.

The CASPer webinar will be hosted by two senior members from the School of Education (A/Prof. Amanda Mooney, Associate Head of School and Jo Collins, School Manager) and a current Teaching student. The webinar will cover:

• How CASPer works and what to expect on test day
• Helpful tips on how to prepare for the CASPer test
• Upcoming CASPer dates, how to sign up and reserve a test
• Why students are required to sit the test

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions during the webinar.
