MUSIC NEWS

On Saturday the 10th of November, the Rock band students played at the Tatura All Saints Produce Market. Tarsha Brown, Kamali Lamba, Aaron Duncan, Tyler Attwood, Mr Lees and Mrs Gibbs braved the sunshine to present a rock and alternative set. Thanks to the families who helped move the gear there and back.

Melbourne Schools Bands Festival

On Friday 16th November some of our junior bands members went down to Melbourne to play at Federation Square. The MSC musicians joined forces with the McGuire College Band to play at the Festival. In order to prepare for this we rehearsed with McGuire College two weeks prior to the event. The band sounded well balanced and they performed confidently. The adjudicator gave the students lots of positive feedback. The BTA bands get together was a great idea which enabled the instrumentation of the band to sound complete. Congratulations to all of our band members for their preparation and performance on the day.
