Year 12 VCE students have nearly completed their external exams, and are preparing to join us in celebration with their families, at the ‘Class Of 2018’ Valedictory Dinner. The event will be held at the GV Hotel on Thursday 29th November. Request for ticket forms must be completed prior to purchasing tickets. Tickets are $70. Doors open at 6.30 pm and the official part of the evening will start promptly at 7.00 pm.

VCE students are eagerly awaiting ATAR scores, which are released on Friday 14th December. Kristina Marko from La Trobe University, will be available at the school from 9.00 am Monday 17 December to assist students with ‘Change of Preference’. Please contact the school on the Friday if you wish to meet up with Kristina, to enable us to schedule an appointment time.

Year 11 students have completed their exams/work experience, and are now embarking on the Early Commencement program. This program will introduce students to their subjects for 2019. It’s a great opportunity to be prepared for the year ahead. In many cases, work will be set that will be required to be completed over the holiday break, and submitted early next year. Students should also ensure that they are prepared with the correct equipment and text books, to enable them to achieve their best. Year 11 students will finish on Friday 30th November.

Year 12 jumpers 

Students will have the opportunity to vote on the design for the 2019 Year 12 jumper. Sizes and ‘Nicknames’ are being submitted this week. Payment of $74 will be required by 30th November. All jumpers must be paid for prior to an order being submitted. Jumpers will be available early next year.

Year 10 students are approaching their exam period. Exams will run in all four core subjects. They will take place over Thursday 29th and Friday 30th November. Last Wednesday, students were given strategies for these exams when they attended a ‘Study Skills’ session, presented by La Trobe University.

Early Commencement for Year 10  into 11 will begin on Monday 3rd December and run for one week. Yr 10 students will finish their classes for 2018 on Friday 7th December. All students who are travelling to BTA schools for some of their subjects, will have the opportunity to become acquainted with the travelling, and layout of the other schools during this week.

2019 Debutante Ball
