Dear Parents/Guardians, Students & Staff
Student Campus Leaders 2020
This week we had the opportunity to hear from our Student Campus Leadership candidates during their presentations to the whole school.
The six candidates were: Farid Hassani, Claire Hardy, Emily Chalmers, Raihana Baqiri, Zahra Rezai and Shaelyn Crowhurst.
After the election, where students and staff voted, I am pleased to announce our four Student Campus Leaders for 2020 are:

- Emily Chalmers
- Raihana Baqiri
- Shaelyn Crowhurst
Congratulations to these students. To all who put up their hand to be a part of this process, thank you. You have excelled in your endeavors and you should be very proud of your efforts.
Year 12s are about to enter their exam period. We wish them all the best in their upcoming exams. Our VCAL students are busily securing work or further study pathways. Good skills to both our VCE & VCAL class of 2019. We will be celebrating your graduation on November 21st.
13 Production
I am looking forward to seeing our production. I hope you can make it as well. This is a joint effort between all four local secondary schools. (ticketing information http://riverlinksvenues.com.au/)
Subject Selections
Year 8 2020 & Year 9 2020
Subject selections have occurred this week, thank you to students, parent/guardians and staff for making these important decisions on which subjects to study in 2020. We can now move on organising staffing and timetables for 2020.
Transitions (Year 6 to Year 7)
We have had more interactive visits from our feeder primary schools. The next phase is our transition team visiting the schools to complete student profiles. We are working diligently in preparation for 2020 and also our Orientation day on December 10th.
Curriculum Day - Wednesday 13th November (student free day)
Staff will be continuing to write curriculum in preparation for 2020.
Open conversation opportunity (Friday’s: 9:15am – 10:15am @ McGuire Campus) - 1st Nov - 29th November 2019
The Principal team will be available for questions about the transition to our new College, between 9:15am – 10:15 am every Friday during November. Please phone (58589800) at the College if you would like to be part of this small, more personal opportunity to discuss how the future of Greater Shepparton College (interim name) will be developed.
