IDAHOBIT Day Cancelled

Hello all,

Family Inclusion Day for IDAHOBIT Day is cancelled.

With a heavy heart, we are cancelling Family Inclusion festival & DASH events due to COVID-19 concerns. The health and safety of our communities is paramount.

We are in the process of communicating with our funding bodies and all other stakeholders to look into postponing the event till September 2020, we understand that if the concerns and restrictions around events continue into Sept that we will cancel our events for 2020 and plan for 2021.

We also understand that the new dates will make it difficult for some to participate - and want to take this opportunity to say thank you for your willingness to support our event. Family Inclusion participants  still available to be present on the day we will continue to keep you updated to any future information.  *fingers crossed*

Our FROCK IT OUT dinner and drag show- Has been postponed till the Saturday 19th September 2020, our entertainer is happy to lock in this date and the Moama Bowling Club. We will provide a refund option for any online ticket holders if required but we hope that everyone are still happy to support our events and come along in September. Our Early Bird competition will cease till later date (Anyone who has brought tickets will still be in the draw for Sept) & Win Free Tickets competition will continue and the winners for both will be draw at a later date (Dates to be confirmed).

Stay safe and look after yourselves.

Echuca-Moama Bridge Project

Echuca Neighbourhood House

Dear Parishioners,

Many of you have been asking how you can help at this challenging time.

You may be aware that the Echuca Neighbourhood House has been very active in conjunction with the Moama Bowling Club, providing food, soup etc to those in need. As the Echuca Foodbank is no longer operating and our own Vinnies have a decreasing capacity, they are fulfilling a very important role.

They do however need help.

They need people to deliver food from the Neighbourhood House in High St and take it to those in need. If you are able to help please ring Sarah or Jenna on 54826914. This is also the number to call if you, or someone that you know is in need of assistance.

They would also welcome any donations of non-perishable food to their foodshare station at the front of the Neighbourhood House 261 High St.

If you do take up this opportunity it would be good if you could let us know at parish so that we then know where more or less help is required.

These are difficult times but we are so blessed to be safe, warm and nourished within our homes.

Stay safe,

Christine
