Student Maths Quotes

At Numurkah Primary School many of our students have been working hard this Term to explore and learn a variety of Maths concepts. Below are some maths quotes from our students:

Elijah Yr Prep: “I have been learning how to share evenly. I have really enjoyed learning in Maths.”

Jack Yr Prep: “I have been learning how to count in Maths, and the Nanna & Grandpa counting on the Interactive Whiteboard has helped me.”

Jazmaine Yr 4: “In Mr Smith’s class this Term we have been learning about how to measure by creating miniature model houses. I love it!”

Charlotte Yr 3: “In Mrs Wilkinson’s class we have been learning how to do division equations through exploring transport.”

Marli Yr 4: “This Term in Mr Jenner’s class I have learnt how to find a common denominator in fractions so I can then add them. I enjoyed learning a new maths trick!”

Declan Yr 2: “I have really enjoyed learning how to count with money in Miss Cottingham’s class this Term.”

Angus Yr 2: “This term we have been learning about tessellation patterns. We created shape drawings where the shape needed to repeat.”
