College Matters
National Reconciliation Week
Our school community recognised 2023 National Reconciliation Week. The highlight was participating in the Be a Voice for Generations Choir. Across Australia choirs of all kinds were invited to sing Kev Carmody and Paul Kelly's 'From Little Things Big Things Grow'. Students and staff combined together lend their voice with a performance to all students.

2024 Year 8 & Year 11
Spread the word!
Due to increased enquiries there will be extra classes added at Year 8 and Year 11 in 2024. This gives an opportunity for students to join the current wait listed 2023 Year 7 or complete their VCE at MGSC.
Expressions of Interest are being accepted now. Successful applications will be advised by the end of term 3.
If our school community know of families that would be interested, direct them to our website for the application form.
Tribute book for Gerry
The school is preparing a book of tributes for Gerry from the MGSC community. It will be presented to Gerry's family in July. Tributes and happy memories need to be submitted by Friday 23 June - the last day of term 2.
All contributions, including photos, can be delivered to the General Office or emailed to mentone.girls.sc@education.vic.gov.au
Seeking CRTs
We have also seeking Expressions of Interest to increase our list of Casual Relief Teachers. The winter months brings extra illness which can keep our teachers staff away from their classes unexpectantly or longer than they planned. Enquiries can be directed to our Daily Organiser Ms Nephish Gunawardena by email: Nephish.Gunawardena@education.vic.gov.a
