Course Description:       

Are you ready to step up, make a difference, and develop essential leadership skills? Our Year 10 Peer Support and Leadership course offers an empowering journey for students who wish to represent the College as student leaders and guide younger peers. In this course, you'll explore and analyse effective leadership strategies, learn what it means to be a global citizen, and discover how to create meaningful change. 

A significant part of this course involves planning and evaluating lessons on a variety of transition topics. You'll put these ideas into practice by leading and mentoring small groups of Year 7 students regularly, making a positive impact on their transition into school. 

Assessment:                      

This subject uses the following methods of assessment: 

• Leadership Reflection Presentation 
• Peer Support Lesson Plans and Observations
