Term 2 update

Hello everyone!

What a term! We are in week 6 now already and start of a new season! Enjoying the wintry sun as I write this newsletter.  Hope the term is going well for everyone. 

We just had a mini soiree recently to give our students who are sitting their music exam a performing opportunity. 

Well done to all who performed! As I often pipe, the more frequently one performs the more confident and less anxious one would be! It will naturally motivate one to practise more regularly. It is also a fantastic learning process as one can reflect on the performance with your teacher following the performance and identify which areas and how one can improve on the outcome when the next performing opportunity comes around.  Regular performance before a supportive audience also develops performance etiquette - from the correct sitting posture to how one should address the audience with proper eye contact.

This term ends on Sunday 25 June and Term 3 will re-commence on Monday 10 July.
