Principal's Message

Dear Students, Parents, Carers and Families,

Happy and Safe Term 3 Holidays

At the end of Term 2, we knew that it had been a long and very different term like no other that we had experienced. Now that we are at the end of Term 3 and having spent the term learning remotely it has more of a feeling of the relative normality rather than something completely alien. While we have adapted well to these changes, we are still counting down the days and weeks to when we can all be together again at school.

This is a journey that we have taken together although not one we would have chosen if there was a choice to be made. However, as a community we have demonstrated a great resilience, grit and determination to ensure that we have made the very best out of the situation we have found ourselves in.

However, among all of the changes and challenges we have faced, we have remained connected as a community and generally thrived as learners. We have achieved many successes of which we can be exceptionally proud of as a student, a family, a staff and community. As a school, we are immensely honoured to be able to provide support, learn and grow together as part of this journey.

On behalf of all the staff at Maramba, I would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday. Recharge, re-energise and all being well we look forward to seeing everyone back for a staged return to school in Term 4.

Footsteps into Foundation Transition Program – Term 4

After our successful Foundation Discovery sessions this term, our amazing transition program for children who will start Foundation in 2021 will start in Term 4. This program provides a great start to supporting the children and families with the smooth transition from kindergarten to Primary School.

The planned sessions will either take place onsite, if restrictions and guidelines allow, or online via WebEx

If you haven’t already, we encourage parents to secure a place in 2021 by enrolling their child for Foundation before the start of the Transition Program in Term 4 on the

15th October 2020.

See the flyer below for further details.
