What's happening in the 3/4 classrooms

The 3/4 students have been working very hard at home completing their learning. They are doing a fabulous job, and each needs a big ‘well done’. They have been working hard, putting together their information reports about their chosen Natural Disaster and preparing for the final stage of their major project for the term.

Students will be focusing on applying new and different strategies for multiplication and division. You may wish to ask your children questions about the strategy they used to make arrays, groups of and repeated addition. The students have been practising by applying different approaches to answer worded and real-world problems.

In Religious Education students are continuing to explore and identify some of the sacred spaces and places of Jesus. Students have been investigating different scripture in the Bible that relate to these sacred spaces and places. We encourage students to talk with you about your own sacred spaces and places.

Over the past few weeks grade, three students have been writing notes and cards to the nearby kindergartens and to the Holy Family parishioners to let them know they are thinking of them during this time. The students were thrilled to receive replies from some of the parishioners and from Fr. Michael over this last week.

Have a great week, everyone.
