Wellbeing

For the remaining two weeks of Term 3, the staff at Holy Family will be hosting a variety of 15-minute activities on our Wellbeing Link at 1pm each day. Songs, stories, games, crafts and even a stand-up comedy routine will be some of the activities that you will be invited to attend.

The purpose behind this Wellbeing Initiative is for teachers and students to reconnect with one another. Teachers throughout the school know and communicate with many children during play breaks and through learning activities. Over the home learning period, we have been limited to seeing our own classrooms, and in the case of some of us, no class at all. As Father Michael, said at the online Mass last Friday, we miss the noise, laughter and presence of children in the school. This opportunity will enable children and families to pop in and participate in an activity with teachers from different year levels.

The reconnection with teachers in the school will remind us all that we are not just separate classrooms but part of a bigger school community.

Our Wellbeing Activities will commence on Monday, 7th September at 1pm. On the Holy Family Portal, you will see a timetable with activities listed. Some of the activities may be geared towards a specific age group while other activities may be suitable for everyone in the family.

We hope that you will tune in and participate with our teachers.
