Thank you to the many families who took the opportunity last evening to further engage with our school and take onboard current, key information.
The COVID-19 Pandemic continues to challenge us all and is ever-evolving on a daily basis.
I will provide key information and dates next week, for our intended return to on-site learning at Miners Rest Primary School. I am currently awaiting confirmation and further detail from DET, with particulars to what can occur for us.
At the briefing we celebrated the successes, learning and resilience of our school community - congratulations to you all, for the fantastic and supportive approach you've all adopted and afforded your children and fellow community members.
We will get there!
We have successfully navigated our way through some great learning in remote learning status. Equally, our on-site learners are doing an excellent job, supported beautifully by our Education Support staff and rotation of teaching staff.
I hope you are all enjoying today, as a well-being focused day and a lighter learning load for the week, specifically designed to allow all stakeholders an opportunity to 'take a breath' and complete any unfinished work etc.
Next Tuesday, 15 September, we look forward to our Student Led Conferences, to share each child's progress and achievements, as well as their very important goals and next steps. Please maximise your valuable time with teaching staff to clarify anything required.
I acknowledge the First People of the Wathaurong, who are the traditional custodians of the land and waters on which I work and live, and pay my respects to the Elders of the past, present and emerging.
