Curriculum Day
A reminder that Tuesday 26th Feb is a student free day. Staff will be participating in professional learning focusing on anxiety and resilience.
Teddy Bears Picnic
Friday morning brought not only sunshine to school but smiling faces as the Prep-2 students walked through the gates holding their cherished fluffy friends. The students form Buninyong and Scotsburn had a wonderful morning as they interacted together through a range of fun activities.
A rather large picnic followed with over 100 students, their teddies and loads of enjoyment!
Smart Building & Living Expo
On Sunday the 24th of February there will be a sustainability festival in Buninyong at Royal Park. We will be looking for student volunteers to help run the ‘kid’s corner’. Students will be running games, solar boats, and seed planting. There will also be a lady doing face painting. Mrs Anderson will be there to assist on the day. If you are available to help out on the day, please return the slip that was sent home this week.
School Fete
This year, the school fete will be held at the Buninyong Campus on Friday 22nd March. Scotsburn will be responsible for the BBQ (SC1), Wood raffle (SC2) and Hot Dog Stall (SC3). We’ll be putting together a roster for helpers in the coming weeks. It would be great if all families could help out in a time slot on at least one of these stalls.
Parent Helper Program
With so many wonderful opportunities for parents to be involved with the campus, understanding and being aware of the school’s expectations is important. If you are keen to help out at the campus this year, drop in and grab a handout from Shaun. Please remember that a current Working with Children’s Check is required, with a copy to be given to Shaun to keep on site.
Grade 4 Camp
The Grade 4 camp is approaching quickly (14th & 15th March). The students will be visiting Anglesea for the night for lots of fun and hopefully plenty of sleep! Ms Geddes will be joining the students on camp, which will ensure that the students know a familiar face. Permission and medical notes will be coming home very soon. To also help you with your planning, the cost of the camp will be approximately $180.
Zooper Doopers
Axel will be selling Zooper Doopers this Thursday for $1.

Lunch orders need to be collected from the Buninyong campus at 12.40pm. Please ensure you organise a swap if necessary so that the students don’t go hungry!
