Headspace- Fundraising

On Saturday 15 June, two of our students, Peter Iuso and Courtnee Blanch, walked 22km through Daruka/Moore Creek to raise awareness and funds for Mental Health, simulating the isolation many of our people in rural areas may feel.

These two students went out on their own accord, contacting Headspace to seek permission to raise these funds on their behalf. They then did an incredible job raising $2,122.78 online alone, with more funds accumulated in cash.

Many staff and students at McCarthy got behind this cause and donated funds and should be thanked for their support.
