Year 8 French Breakfast

To celebrate the end of the semester with a cultural experience, Year 8 French had a 'Taste of France Breakfast'.  The breakfast included: Du jus d’orange (orange juice), un croissant, un petit pain au chocolat (chocolate croissant) et de la baguette (and French bread stick) avec du beurre (with butter) et de la confiture (and jam).

Students set up the room, prepared and served the food. When everyone had been served, the class said 'Grace' in French and ‘Bon appetit!'

This experience allowed the students to use their knowledge and good manners, spoken in French, in a different context. They all behaved very well and enjoyed this cultural taste. Well done, Year 8 French, for your fantastic progress in French this Semester!
