1MG - 'TURTLE' Words

We have learnt a lot in MSL this term. 1MG decided to show you our turtles. We had a lot of fun making the turtles and learning about two syllable words ending with ‘consonant – le’.

Ask us if we can remember the rule!

Hint:

If a word has a short vowel followed by only one consonant, double the final consonant,

then add – le. For example bubble, little and middle.

If a word has a long vowel or a short vowel immediately followed by 2 consonants,

just add – le. For example circle, cycle and purple.
