NATIONAL SCIENCE WEEK

8 – 12 AUGUST
National Science Week was celebrated across the country during the second week of August. Here at McKinnon Secondary College we celebrated with special experiments and demonstrations in class, a number of workshops, presentations and several competitions.
Highlights included presentations/workshops from:
- Dr David Manallack from the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences;
- Tyson, Lee and Kira: all Materials Engineers from the Materials Science and Engineering Department at Monash University;
- Ray and his reptiles from Snake Busters;
- Cam from GreenHat Plank Engineering Challenge; and
- a viewing of some of the winning films from the 2016 International Science Documentary Film Festival.
