From our Assistant Principals

Thank you for supporting our young people to reach their goals over the year. We are very excited to see them continue to grow and develop into resilient learners in 2019.

One of the highlights of this year include our students' wonderful NAPLAN results indicating that the college continues to deliver quality educational outcomes for all students. The number of students experiencing high growth from Year 7 to Year 9 are among the strongest in the state compared to schools similar to ours. Other highlights include the performance of our language students across a range of competitions, the way students represent the college on our many and varied excursions and the work of the SRC over the year in contributing to the vibrant life of the college.

We are very proud of the way our families have made student attendance at school a priority this year. Every day counts! Research indicates that each day missed is associated with lower achievement in numeracy, writing and reading. School is a ‘training ground’ for the workplace. Thank you for your support in ensuring your child arrives at school on time, as this is an important life skill. Please continue to ensure your child arrives on time to school next year.
