Minecraft

On Thursday the 19th of May, 5/6D were lucky enough to trial how Minecraft: Education Edition works in the classroom! At first, we did some ‘How to play’ tutorials, focusing on basic movement and placing and breaking blocks. Once the students were feeling confident, we tried one of the lessons through the subject learning kits available from Minecraft: Education Edition. We explored a lesson from Digital Citizenship where the students interacted with NPCs (non-playing characters) to make good decisions about their personal information online. We all had an absolute blast exploring all that Minecraft: Education Edition has to offer and we are so excited for our next lesson soon!
