5/6 Canberra Camp 

In Week 4 of Term 1 the grade 5/6 students travelled by bus to Canberra! This camp focused on learning about Australian Government and Democracy, which included visits to new and old Parliament House, National Capital Exhibition, Electoral Education Centre, Royal Australian Mint, Museum of Democracy, War Memorial, Questacon, Australian Institute of Sport, Governor General’s House and National Gallery of Australia. It was such an informative, jam packed week! Students will continue their learning about this topic for the reminder of this term, including doing their own role play and designing their own electorate.
