Class 3/4 Steiner–Celebrating Learning

In 3/4S the children have been engaged with the stories of Noah, Joseph and Moses from Hebrew tradition. They have been displaying their knowledge of grammar while composing retells of stories told in class.

Our visit to Bundoora Farm was highly educational and entertaining. The children were thrilled to go up close to animals and show respectful care of the creatures, especially the guinea pigs.

In 3/4 the students have been engaged in using the OREO structure to plan and compose their own persuasive writing as well as investigating and trialling various strategies to enrich their creative pieces too. Through reading we’ve been focusing on morphology and identifying common text features across many different articles and stories. We are finishing up our learning around place value before moving on to chance!

Below are photographs and some things our students have had to say!
