Foundation Steiner–Celebrating Learning

We have been right into storytelling and play the last few weeks.

We have been enjoying recreating scenes from stories told over multiple weeks. THe children have been so into this that they are now taking the concept and applying it in their inside play. They have been creating their own stories to tell each other which has been a joy to watch and hear.

Our current story is about a mushroom that shelters some animals from the rain. This week we are going to make mushrooms out of clay and then little animals to shelter from beeswax! It's going to be fun!

We have also been enjoying playing some maths games and exploration play during inside play. It's great to see the kids freely exploring and engaging with age-appropriate maths language and tasks.
