LUNCH CLUBS ARE BACK

The lunch time clubs are back!

IRC – Games, Computers, Books

The IRC will be open 3 days a week providing children with the opportunity to relax in a bean bag, read a book, chat with a friend or grab a game when the computers have been taken! Computer games continue to be number one on the list of preferred things to do, but it’s great to see just enjoy being in a relaxed space.

Yoga

Practicing breathing exercises, flowing sequences and balancing poses helps young minds feel emotional balance through the physical and mental benefits of yoga. Positive self awareness and esteem are encouraged.

 Free Drawing/ Colouring

No matter what your artistic style may be, come along to enjoy the mindful relaxation of sketching and drawing what ever your imagination inspires.

Lego/ Games

While we’d love to have heaps of  lego we have enough to keep young creative brains at work. There’s duplo and other construction materials and the opportunity to just play some simple games. If you’re into creative play, come along to lego/games.

Basketball

Dribbling, shooting, passing, blocking. No it’s not a battle, it’s basketball. Feel like fine tuning your skills then putting those drills into play? Come along and play one of the best games on the planet.

Dance Club

Feel the groove and let those arms and legs move to the rhythm. Learn some new moves or come and practice your own. Put it all together to create a dance and you become a Dance Club star.

Aerobics/ Cheerleading

Did you know we have a cheer leader on staff? So kids, come and get fit with some aerobics or come and find out what cheer leading is all about. For those of you who already do cheer leading, come along and share your style.

Here’s  the timetable for the remainder of the term.
