On Friday 19th March, St Raphael's will join over 350,000 students as they ride to school from all over the country. If you live nearby school you can walk, scoot, skate or ride and if you must drive, why not park a little further away and travel the rest of the way by foot.

For years we have been separating our waste at St Raphael's using a four bin system; red for landfill, yellow for comingled recyclables, blue for paper/ cardboard and our green organic buckets. We are also recycling bottle tops and bread tags in our Science space, and collecting milk bottles to build our fabulous igloo.
We are now pleased to introduce another bin - the black bin for soft plastic.
Our wonderful uniform shop team have already put the black bin to good use by recycling the soft plastic our uniform items come wrapped in. Black bins can be found in the Science space, the Year 1/2 waste station and in the upstairs corridor.
Please remember the best way to reduce waste at school is to pack nude food, and if you must have wrappers return them home and dispose responsibly.
Soft plastics are recycled at our local Coles and Woolworths stores through REDcycle. Additional information can be found at https://www.redcycle.net.au/
