Womens' NRL Visit

On Thursday 11 February we were fortunate to have 3 Women's NRL players visit the College and run a clinic and Q and A with our female year 9/10 PASS students. The students had an opportunity to participate in a game of touch football and ask the girls about life as an elite sportswoman. The ladies spoke very well and were great ambassadors for the game. The women’s NRL players included  Kirra Dibb (NZ Warriors, NSW and Australian representative), Simiani Taufa (Sydney Roosters, NSW, Australia representative), Tiana Penitanta (St George Dragons, NSW and Australian representative). Our students were lucky enough to receive a prize each for their efforts on the day. The students who participated included; Tomi Gavin, Charlotte Bridge, Isabella Bolsom, Claudia Kenniff, Gabrielle Higgins, Kim Tulabut, Mia Cuthbertson and Brooke Krsulja. A big thank you to Luke Taylor from the NRL Development for organising visit.

2021 Swimming Carnival

On Wednesday 19 February our College swimming carnival was held at Manilla pool. This was the second year that we have transferrerd to Manilla and the pool was in top condition for the carnival. The local students, early swimmers and staff did a great job in setting up the equipment for the day. There was some great racing throughout the day; the relays were again a highlight. The  Giant Ball relay and year 12 Pool Noodle was a lot of fun. The fancy dress theme for year 12 this year was dynamic duos and there were some great costumes. There was a great atmosphere and wonderful school spirit throughout the day.
