Congratulations

Huskisson Triathlon

Tommaso Cornelius-Feltus (Year 9) and his sister Mercede (Year 12 2022) competed at the Huskisson Triathlon on Saturday November 6th. Tommaso packed two races into his day. He was the first male athlete across the finish line in the 2 km run. He had another super race in the Super Sprint Triathlon coming in as the third male triathlete. Mercede also had an outstanding day coming home as second place female athlete in the same race. Congratulations to them both.

Katie Tink - Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award

Katie Tink (12), has been awarded her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. In what has been quite a disrupted two years with COVID-19 she has displayed great commitment and grit to achieve this fantastic award. 

 

Katie completed the following to achieve her award:

  • Physical Recreation - Gym and physical fitness programs
  • Skill- Piano
  • Service - Assisting the school library staff, Helping with Prep School sport, Cooking for essential workers during lockdown.
  • Residential Project - Completed 5 days assisting younger students at Buninyong Public School, Dubbo, NSW
  • Adventurous Journey - The Great North walk (Outward Bound Journey)

Katie has been extremely independent and focused throughout her award. She is a great ambassador for the school, and she will graduate with and internationally renowned award that will serve her well in applying for university, GAP year applications and employment.
