Port Fairy weekend trip

The finer weather on the weekends has provided an opportunity to travel to the beach for some fun in the sun. Last weekend, 18 boarders were driven down to the beachside town of Port Fairy. The boarders enjoyed time in the sun, beach activities, shopping, and of course local ice-cream.

A big thank you to Jim Whitehead for driving the boarders to Port Fairy and of course a big thank you to the boarders for their enthusiasm and energy. 

Lifeskills – Boarding House canteen

This week our younger boarders started their financial literacy project for 2022. All boarders will have the opportunity to use a Boarding House canteen next year, all organised and run by our boarders. This week Lise led the boarders in breaking down the possible items offered and at what prices these could and should be sold for. It certainly is an important project for our boarders to take ownership of this project and extend their knowledge, in a practical sense, of financial literacy.
