YEAR 10 ADVANCE SURFING AND CLIMBING

In the last week of Year 10 classes, the Advance students headed off on an excursion to Active Hardrock clip and climb. Students were set rock-climbing challenges throughout the hour session and if they managed to achieve the challenge they were then allowed on the vertical slide. Blake Jensen- Muir, Megan Elliot, Matteo Macali and Calum Spiegel were the challenge winners and enjoyed the giant vertical slide ride! 

As the students missed out on two camps this year. We made up for the missed opportunity for some of our practical learning. As soon as metropolitan school excursions were allowed, we travelled down to the surf coast and enjoyed a 2 hour surfing lesson on Torquay’s main beach. All students had a great time and it was a wonderful way to finish off the year.
