School Walkathon

Going home today in your child's bag will be a notice and sponsorship form for our upcoming school walkathon. Our annual walkathon/wheelathon will be held on Tuesday 30th November at 2:00pm in the park.

This is our major fundraiser this year and the money raised will be used to keep building our classroom libraries and to also purchase new iPads for classrooms for next year. In past years, the Walk-a-thon/Wheel-a-thon has been very well supported. In 2021 we aim to raise $15,000.

Subject to covid restrictions in place at the time, parents and friends are most welcome to come along and join in. We would love this be the event where our community comes back together after so long apart - it will be the week after the state is set to reach the 90% fully vaccinated mark and so eased restictions should be in place.

We ask parents to support their children by either donating an amount or by sponsoring their efforts and perhaps by finding other sponsors. Specific details and a sponsor sheet are on the form sent home. Sponsors may choose to sponsor per lap or make an overall donation. 

After the event the money raised from sponsors can be paid to the school via one payment using our preferred payment method Compass School Manager.
